I'm Not Good In Math

In the past, students that did not excel in math just didn't take much math. Things are changing.


High schools have minimum standards for graduation and allow students to select classes above and beyond the minimum requirements. This may be a luxury we can no longer afford.

Math is becoming more and more critical. Not only are No Child Left Behind standards demanding more math skills but colleges are also demanding more math. Careers that placed little emphasized math in the past are now adding math skills to requirements. What are the problems caused by this? What can students do when high schools do not require math but colleges do?
