StudyBuddy.com is a new search engine that is receiving very high marks for helping students with homework. It is focused on becoming the #1 homework site.

AOL has launched StudyBuddy with hopes of being a dominant educational site. It scans thousands of teacher-approved sites, encyclopedias, journals at age-appropriate levels.

Students select a topic and grade level and are quickly on their way. StudyBuddy sorts the information making sure it is appropriate for the age of the student. The levels are K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12. Subject areas are math, language arts, social studies, health, electives and science. The site will note recent searches if you want to return to the site you visited yesterday. There are also other links available for on-line tutoring.

AOL is hoping that this becomes the first place students go for information. Students can either go to www.studybuddy.com or http://homework-help.aol.com. Either address takes them to this site. WebMD is the place to go medical information and StudyBuddy wants to be the same in education.
