me& my husband have been married 22 years hes verbally abusive towards me& my 11 yr,old. i wanna leave bad but, everything ive worked for in the last20yrs. is here in this place we call our home.i feel i just cant walk off & leave 20 yrs worth of stuff,ive worked for all my life.i never had anything before& hes the type that tears up my belongings when he gets mad because, he knows what it means to me. also, ive been going through a rough time lately, i lost my older brother&he left behind a beautiful 15 yr. old daughter that he thinks i should raise(another way of keeping me in this prison)i dont know what to do/ i just got a job promotion at work& had one child left at home to raise out of 5 children& all my kids hate him.help! can someone please tell me what to do?
